Contemporary Dance Specialist

Orginally from Chesterfield, Sophie trained at London Contemporary Dance School and is currently working for Cirque Du Soleil, as a dancer, pole artist and aerialist. Often on the move, Sophie has lived and worked all over the world, and predominantly in Macau, China. She performed as a dancer and acrobat for internationally accliamed circus production, ‘The House Of Dancing Water’ by Franco Dragone, and was Dance Captain for MGM’s, ‘Destiny’. She has previously performed with Cirque Du Soleil in ‘Scalada Vision’ in Andorra, ‘Pop Circus’ at The Roundhouse in London, and in Stockholm in ‘Gynoïdes’, an all female circus show.

Choreographically, Sophie creates work in film, theatre and live events. She has created 5 productions with Romanian director Horia Suru, 3 of which are currenlty playing. Her production of ‘COLUMBINUS’ won Best Show at The National Theatre Bucharest’s Teen Fest in 2016. She assisted John Ross in ‘EPIDEMIC’ with The Old Vic in London, and has produced several charity events, most notably ‘LODDO’, which raised over 30,000HKD$ for The Samaritans Trust.

Ballet Master

Choreographer. Cecchetti and Vaganova classical techniques. Balanchine and noeclassical techniques. Pas de Deux and partnering. Boys work. Pointe work. Jazz. Ballet Conditioning. 

Joshua, from Hucknall, trained KS Dance in Warrington with the 3 year Classical Course. He started his career at The Serbian National Theatre Ballet, as corps de ballet and soloist, moving on to The Serbian National Ballet in Belgrade, under Director Bruce Steivel, performeding works by Vladimir Vassiliev, Jiri Kylian and George Balachine. In 2014 he moved to The Bosnian National Ballet and finally in 2015 Joshua returned home to the UK and currently dances for London Contemporary Ballet Theatre.

Joshua has taught and choreographed internationally, including creating works for Midlands Theatre Ballet, The Serbian National Ballet School and the ARS Ballet and Arts Centre Zenica, Bosnia.
